network disk asccess password problem by windows 7
hi, I have a network drive on LAN. when I try access from windows xp os to disk, access is succesful and opening user and password window. I am writing user and password and opening files successfull. But when I try this on Windows 7 Proffessional + SP1 , the authentication window is opening and I am writing the user and password, but not connecting, authentication widow is opening again.

I selected "Send LM & NTLM " but now opening authentication window , I am entering user and password , but now "\\IP cannot access..." error is occuring. before I select LAN manager level authentication window opening again and again.

may be the reason for this problem 128 bit or 64 bit encryption?

Hi, You could try the 128 bit encryption for test. If this failed, I would like to confirm the following details: Where does the network drive locate? The problem has not been solved. I think this is not a windows problem, that can be a frameware update of disk problem.
