network connection problem
hey guys, pls help me to resolve this problem..i m using d cable to surf internet, but after i reformat my laptop, it seems like even though the cable internet is showing internet access, but still my laptop cannot connect through it, i guess is my laptop setting problem, bcau i asked my friends whether they encounter the same problem as i did while we are using the same network adapter,but they don't...some1 can give me some suggestion to solve this problem? thx alot :)

Use network driver from HW vendor (not optional driver from MS). Better platform for question like this one is here answers.microsoft.com Rgds Milos

Did you create a wireless network & apply similar SSID & passphrase for your notebook as well as the router? Lastly what do you mean by D cable? Fyi you need a RJ45 or Lan cable to connect from your notebook to your modem cum router if you're using cablePlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
