Hello Mr.Tonz, Windows Vista doesnt include netsh diag command-line any more, some network troubleshooting features have been integrated into Network Monitor. You can download the updated version from the following page: Microsoft Network Monitor 3.1 http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/details.aspx?familyid=18B1D59D-F4D8-4213-8D17-2F6DDE7D7AAC&displaylang=en Hope this helps! Hi, Generally, if you want to look up the statuses of local hosts TCP/UDP ports listening, just use netstat an. Cheers, Lionel

Is there also an alternative for things like "netsh diag ping adapter 1"??This was very handy for scripting. Without it, one must use wmi to find the active NIC, then read the gateway, then invoke pingstatus....That's a lot of work just to replace one command.____________________________________ Lionel Chen - MSFT wrote: Hello Mr.Tonz, Windows Vista doesnt include netsh diag command-line any more, some network troubleshooting features have been integrated into Network Monitor.
