can anyone help me, i have installed all my games and the new games for windows live and everytime i try and connect to g4wl it gives me an error and says it cannot connect, the same thing with GTA4's social club, it wont let me connect. i can connect to the internet and can play the games but i cant login to the live service or the social club, please help me out. i am using 64bit windows 7

Can you post the exact text of the errors you receive? The only thing I can think of is that the games use some sort of cheating protection that isn't yet updated to recognize Windows 7 as a legitimate operating system and therefore won't let you connect. -Nick

Do you have a router? Are the ports forwarded?

Hello ferealfereal,Social Club and Games for Windows Live have recently released several updates for GTA4 and this past weekend performed maintenence on thier servers. This did cause me to experience some connectivity issues. I resolved this by logging into Games for Windows Live out of the All Programs menu and signing in the applet there, then open GTA4 and log in through the game interface.Accept any updates it gives you prompts for and then reboot.-Scott
