Are you able to get to the logon screen? If not, Go back into your bios and make some sort of change, maybe 1 clock higher. That won't hurt anything. If you made no changes to the bios and just started normally the hardware change is though it is a different machine and it will just keep restarting. Make the change and the change it back. report back if this helped. If the above is the case all of your settings will still be there. JB

Desktop settings to log in C://Desktop settings I strongly recommend you learn how to post in a forum. You do not write your question in the subject line anymore than you would write a letter on the outside of an envelope. Make your subject short and to the point. Then you can expound on the problem in the body of the post. Long, wordy subjects tend to be avoided by people because it is doesn't identify the problem in a few choice words. And, by posting as you have, you really haven't presented the problem in a manner that one can figure out exactly what has happened!

Hi Arnetta21, I'd like to inform you that simply adding more memory should not cause such issue. Did you add/change other hardware? What exact issue did you encounter if you try to log on normal mode? You can also temporarily remove the memory and see the result. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Sean, Maybe it should not cause the issue but it did with my machine. I added ram and then I could not get to the login screen. I just kept restarting. Lack of imformation hurts the aid and the lack of not replying one can only assume, which is not good. The slight changes caused mine to start up normally the first time. Then I set it all back as it was. JB
