my pc freeze at start up !!
i have win xp and it freezes at startup a lot !!! and it takes much time to see the win logo !!! i tried to delete some tasks from the ( MSCONFIG ) wich starts with the win .i have win xp version 2002 , service pack3 , intel(R)core(TM)2CPU , Email removed for privacy, 1.99GB of ram ,1 person needs an answerI do too

Boot into Safe Mode and run a few tests- What tab has you disabled items on, in MSCONFIG?- Check Event viewer in Computer Management for any errors on boot- Run malware / virus scan- Check free harddisk scan and clear up temporary files."If you find my reply helpful please click the 'Vote As Helpful' button next to my reply"

wt did u mean errors on boot ?i checked the event viewer \ application , and found lots of errors and most of them is sourced : mssecurityessentials .and some errors : userenv and thed description : Windows was unable to load the registry. This is often caused by insufficient memory or insufficient security rights.DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. for C:\Documents and Settings\TAREQ\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows\\UsrClass.dat
