Hi martucha You might have open your messenger from more than one place. To restore the original setting:Right click your windows live messenger icon in the taskbar , click open messenger and not sign in.(If you were online sign out first). click the right drop down arrow (not the one following available) the far one. Uncheck save my password and sign me in automatically.Once you sign in without saving your password navigate in Tools>options>on the left panel click sign in>check sign me out of all other places when I sign in to Messenger>Uncheck allow automatic sign in when connected to internet> Hit Ok.Again tools>option>on the left panel click security and check ask for my password .... . Hit Ok.Do not clear the check alwaysask for the password before opening. Keep it checked.Good Luck
