my local network connection do not appear
i clck on local connections but nothing shows up. My network place does not give my the option to view local connections. I click on it but nothing happens. I originally had it to show the little icons on y task bar but even that does not show. I have an internet connection, even a wireless one too but I cant get to my eithernet or that other connection that you can usually disable. The point is that even when i click on t to the my lnetwork place there appears a unspecified icon....I think that is supposed to be the local area connection icon. Oh.....i am running xp home edition. Please help

Hi, Before going any further, please understand that this is Windows 7 Forum. In order to get the answer effectively, it is recommended to submit a new question in Windows XP Forum.
