my laptop (running xp) has lost its capability to hook up using wireless. i can't find anything in "network connections" and have lost the wireless icon from the taskbar.
i have a wireless modem in home and prior to this it was working fine.2 people got this answerI do too

Hi Rufnek, Thanks for posting. First check your machine and see if there is a wireless swich on it. Many times there is a switch on the PC to turn the wireless off and on. If your PC does not have such a switch go to the OEM website and reinstall the latest wireless drivers for your PC.
