hello my name is Rio. I have a problem when i'm trying to open my game launcher. Usually nothing's wrong with this game but suddenly today, i checked the task manager and the launcher is not responding.

i try to analyse wait chain and it says that the launcher is waiting for another process (taskhostex.exe).

Besides this game launcher i also can't open LINE for PC and AutoCAD applications, and another game from Windows Store. This happens once a few months ago (the exactly same problem as i told above) and after a week it's worked like nothing happened, although i didnt do anything.

What is happening and how can i fix it?

Try more granular analytical tool namely Process Monitor from Sysinternals.

Try to place yor ptoblem into appropriate application support pages.

Look into application compatibility list - chances are that your application is NOT compatible with Windows 8.1.
