my Wired connection works with my old laptop but is unidentified with my new sony vaio
the old laptop has xp and will work the the wired to the modem, but my xp wont identify it. maybe its a prob with my norton anti virus how do i fix it ???

cHi, Can you explain the detailed symptom? Any error message? Right click on our network and open properties, you should automatically obtain your ip address, dns, and gateway. Make sure you have installed the latest network adapter driver from Sony's offical website. Third party software like antivirus software might be one of the cause.
