in window 7 when I downloaded music for google music manager into a folder I has it set up to organize by song title.  I recently switched to 8.1, when I go into that folder it has separated the songs into subfolders for the artist, I would like to go back to organizing by song title without the subfolders. Help?

Do you mean the folder changed automatically after we switched to Windows 8.1 or it changed after we open them from a player ?

What is the player you are using ?

I suspect it has something to do with the method you play the songs .
If you use the Windows Media Player ,please try to drag the music to the "Album" or "Genre" to have a check .

We also can create a new folder and then copy all the music to this folder to have a check.
