moved or deleted shortcuts in windows media
I have been getting a lot of error messages telling me that a shortcut has been moved or changed in Windows Media. It's only happening when I am using Windows Media. I have an idea of what might be causing it but I just want to make sure or see if there is something I can do to make it stop happening. I have games installed on my PC and when I delete a game, these messages get more and more. Is it because I deleted the game and now the music from the game did not get removed with it? How do I fix this? It gets annoying when I am trying to do something and all I get are these messages popping up one after another constantly. Shouldn't the sound files get deleted when I remove or delete the game from my computer? Thank you for your help!!! :)

If i am to understand properly, you had sound files from a game in your Windows Media Player library? If this is the case, simply remove the files from your library. Windows Media has its own files that contain listings of the things you have added. If one of the files in the library gets deleted physically, the library file does not know this. Its just reading from storage. Deletion should be achievable through a right click context menu on the item.
