how can i transfer my outlook express email addresses that are stored in email folders to another computer. used export feature but just end up with one long list of addresses, i need them inside the folders.1 person needs an answerI do too

Addresses aren't stored in mail folders, they're stored int he Windows Address Book. Transfer your WAB file and open it in Outlook Express on the other PC.Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

The Address Book is not with your messages.Open the Address Book on the old machine and | File | Export | Address Book (wab) either to a CD, or Flash. Copy the Address Book from the CD or Flash to the Desktop on the new machine. Right click on it | Properties and remove the Read Only attribute. Open the Address Book | File | Import | Address Book (wab) and point to where you saved it.
