Hi. I have a problem with my madcatz R.A.T 9 mouse.Everything works find until i recently played a game and the speed suddenly change to slow and then change to normal speed again.This repeats frequently and it frustrates me especially when playing online games.Hope to recieve help.

I suspect this is mostly related with the mouse driver. Check to see if you have any mouse related software installed, you may contact the manufacturer to check if they could offer any helpful suggestions.

Meanwhile, regarding the game issue, check at the game side as well. Make sure you have the frame rate to set OK when playing the online game, along with the network connections.

Does changing the Mouse parameters in the control panel applet make any difference? There is a "Speed" setting in there in the Pointer Options tab.  Try the various options...

Mad Catz recommends that you disable any Windows control of the mouse and remove any causes of mouse acceleration (which varies the speed at which the pointer moves and sounds like the issue you are experiencing).
