missing reg key
While trying to run a downloaded .avi file I found out  I have no HKLM/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/ /NETFramework registry key. Running Microsoft 8.1. I don't have any idea how I lost it. Is there a fix other than reinstall.

Please check the below registry key path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework

To restore Registry best option is to go for a System Restore. Select any restore point when there was no such issue.
