I HAVE A NEW AS OF CHRISTMAS HP NOTEBOOK AND I AM TRYING TO SYNCHRONIZING MY PALM CENTRO WITH MY NOTEBOOK AND WINDOWS 7S DRIVERS FOR MY MICROSOFT WIFI MINIPORT ADAPTER WONT LOAD AND ITS NOT ONLY SHOWING PROBLEMS WITH MY SMART DEVICE IN DEVICES AND PRINTERS BUT ALSO MY NOTEBOOK AND I CANT DOWNLOAD AND DRIVER THAT HELPS. MY VERSION OF WIFI IS 6.107600.16835 AND WHEN I GO ON TO MICROSOFTS WEB SITE AND DOWNLOAD THE LATEST DRIVER IT STILL WONT OPEN IS THERE SOMEONE THAT CAN HELP ME FIND A CURE FOR THIS NEW OPERATING SYSTEM WITH DRIVER PROBLEMS I AM NOT SURE IF I SHOULD DO A RESTORE OR A PRIOR BACK UP BECAUSE IM NOT SURE IF THIS PROBLEM CAME WITH MY NOTEBOOK OR ITS FROM TRYING TO CONNECT MY PALM CENTRO THANKYOU FOR YOUR TIME

Regarding “Microsoft virtual WIFI miniport adapter” error, I would like to suggest the following: 1.If there is a new version of the wireless NIC driver from Dell, please update it. 2.Disable the wireless Hosted Network with the following command in an elevated command prompt: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=disallow Hope it helps.Vivian Xing - MSFT
