microsoft security baseline analyzer won't install
hi, I recently downloaded a copy of microsoft security baseline analyzer. The problem I'm having is that when I walk through the set wizard and I'm prompted for the folder to install the analyzer, I get this message that I can't install over a previous installation; however, when I change the install folder name, I get the same message over and over again. Oh, I'm running Vista Business SP2. , g_stuff_99

Hi, Thank you for your post! The error message usually indicate a previous installation is still exsisting or haven't been removed completely. At this point, I would suggest uninstall previous version and reinstall again. If it does not work, plesae use the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility to uninstall it. hi, I went to the link you posted and it turned out to be a busted link; I then searched the technet and found that the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility is a discontinued product but, Major Geeks has copies for download; I then went to Major Geeks, downloaded a copy, attempted to run it and got a script error. So, where do we go from here? , g_stuff_99
