as mentioned above, all of a sudden i discovered that all my saved sent messages that typically go to the "sent" folder in outlook express (verson 6) have disappeared. I am running Windows XP and have never seen this problem before. I can right click on the sent folder icon and open properties and see that it says there are 18,000 messages in the file but they no longer show up when I left click on the folder. It is completely empty. I have sent a couple of test messages and the message total when check is incrimenting properly as I had the test messages but even those are no longer appearing in the sent folder. All the other folders which I have show messages that I have saved for variousl project. Anyone help be recover the messages that are no longer showing in the "sent" folder? Thank you. Van1234
