message not delivered ... no response from server... Lync 2010

Hi All,

Some users had issues when they chat with office 365 users (declared as IM Service Provider). The issue is "message not delivered ... no response from server..." when lync user send message to office 365 users and sometimes to internal users.

Any Ideas?

Hi,

Can you enable following perfmon counter on Lync frontend servers ? Observe the sends outstanding queue when issue happens. 

SIP - 017 - Sends Outstanding

This may be caused by the synchronism of presence status on Lync front End server. The user who appears online may be offline in reality.

Try to restart the Front end service on Lync Front End server.

Hi Lisa,

I restart Lync Front-End and Edge severalt times. However, the error remains. Is there a way to verify that?

I'm preparing Performance Counters Saleesh said.
