media disconnected
I have a wireless network system with 5 computers on it. I recently changed out my modem. Since booting up the new modem I have all but one computer connected to the network. The one I am having an issue with, locates the network but will not connect. I ran ipconfig and get the message "media disconnected" I have ran ipconfig/release and renew and I receive the message "No operation can be performed on wireless connection 2 while it has its media disconnected. I have tried updating the driver, disabling and enabling, and so many other things I have found on some other forums. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Hello, Thanks for your post here. This issue is quite complex and please firstly consider to check the working status of network device (NIC), which including reinstalling the updated driver for Windows 7 and checking if it is physically damaged. Also you may check the connection status in router, use “ipconfig –all” to export the IP configuration and post the result here. Hope that helps Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
