How can I map a drive on windows 7 pro to be seen and opened on a xp pro machine? I will be using the xp machine and will need to be able to connect to the windows 7 drive to open multiple folders, so I need to be able to look at the hold drive, not one or two folders. I have already mapped the window 7 machine so I can open a look at the drive and all the folders on the xp machine, but cannot be on xp machine and look at the window 7 drive and folders.george1 person needs an answerI do too

None of this works for what I am tring to do. When I click on the window 7 networked drive on the xp machine I get a access denied pop up. As stated before I can go to the win7 machine and open the networked drive from the xp machine and open the folders I need to open. I Need To Open The Networked Drive On The Win7 From The XP Machine. The secuirty stuff does not matter on these machines, They do not get on internet. This For communication of the computers to be able to run each others programs.
