losing focus
when i open two or more windows the windows lose focus. In other words i am unable to view all at the same time. They 'disappear' to the task bar and the only way i can keep them in focus is by double clicking and holding the left hand key of the mouse down. I hope this makes sense. any suggestions?

Hi Julsie, Is the issue that when open two or more windows, the windows will minimize to the Taskbar automatically? If this is the situation, does it occur in Safe Mode (Restart computer, press the F8 key when the boot menu pops up, select [Safe Mode], and boot up)? If the issue does not occur in Safe Mode, please test in Clean Boot. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, we can use a 50/50 approach to quickly narrow down which entry is causing the issue. In addition, please also test in a new user account to see if the issue occurs. Also, if the issue did not occur before, please try System Restore to restore the system to the date before the issue first occurred by the steps below: 1. Click Start, type System Restore (without quotation marks) in the Search bar, and then click System Restore in the Programs list. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue. 2. In the System Restore dialog box, click Choose a different restore point, and then click Next. 3. In the list of restore points, click a restore point that was created before you began to experience the issue, and then click Next. 4. Click Finish. Hope this helps. Regards, Linda

thanks for your reply. The problem is that if applications and sites are minimised to the taskbar, when i click on them they do not "stay open". They open and close almost immediately and the only way to keep them "open" is to double click and hope for the best . Seldom works and is a nuisance rather than a problem Can you help?

Hi Julsie, Could you please let me know the update on this issue? Does the issue occur in Safe Mode and Clean Boot mode as mentioned in my previous post? What about System Restore?
