login password after changing from domain back to workgroup
I am taking my windows 7 pc out of the domain and will use it as a standalone PC. I want to make sure I will be able to logon once it is out of the domain. I can currently login to the PC outside of the domain. The PC name is TOWER3. I can login as TOWER3\admin. When I reconfig the PC to be in a workgroup, will that TOWER3\admin password still be valid? thanks,

hey Steve, Removing the machine from the domain will not change the local admin password. You should be ok.David Christian | Security Engineer | The Vantage Group
