this is not an intermittent problem, i moved from a university apartment accodation who provided internet, they did some changes to my laptop settings and now that ive left i cant connect to the internet at home wirelessly i can use internet via cable, but not wirelessly. when connected wirelessly it says "local only" but i cant go online wirelessly please help :)

this is not an intermittent problem, i moved from a university apartment accodation who provided internet, they did some changes to my laptop settings and now that ive left i cant connect to the internet at home wirelessly i can use internet via cable, but not wirelessly. when connected wirelessly it says "local only" but i cant go online wirelessly please help :) The likelihood is that you were connected to a domain previously with your wireless connection &/or have different security settings for the uni connxn. Suggest you create a new connection to your new wireless router bearing in mind any private shared key (PSK) requirements from your router.
