livesoftrock hijack?
I've suddenly begun receiving (obviously false) "Security Warnings" indicating that various files are infected, offering me the option to "activate your antivirus software now." Clicking yes brings up an IE window with the following web address entered: http://livesoftrock.com/purchase?r=57.4 Clearly this is a malware attack, which wouldn't normally present a problem. However, I now find that I am unable to activate any of my anti-spyware or anti-malware security programs. Attempting to run them just pops up another "Security Warning" window, and the program itself does not start. I also cannot activate the Task Manager by Ctrl-Alt-Del, and most of my other programs have the same problem, including downloaded program installers, which means I cannot go and download and install any of the recommended programs for addressing this hijack. Thus, my hands are effectively tied. I need some assistance, some recommendation about how to address this problem. Please help?1 person needs an answerI do too
