Can you please perform the following steps: 1. Dis-connect the cable 2. Let the computer attempt to connect by wireless. 3. When you get the "Limited Conectivity" message, run IPCONFIG /ALL from your command prompt. 4. Post the results of that command back here to this thread.

Your wireless adapter is not picking up the correct IP address from your Router. This can be caused by weak wireless signal. How far away from the AP are you?

Seeing your IPconfig /all result I can see a "169.254.156.76" APIPA address. This means that you are not receiving an IP address from the router. To force your computer to get an IP address from router, type: C:\> ipconfig /renew Please revert back here if this does not resolve your issue. Hope it helps! Can another computer connect wirelessly to the AP? I suggest you try a friend's laptop, to make sure your AP is operating correctly. If you elminate that as a possibility, we can concentrate on the laptop, if needed.

I have tekaen my laptop to a friends house to try and connect, but still still having limited connectivity.nonyai

With due respect to the other answerers, it seem obvious to me that the DHCP service is working on the clients pc(see the results of the wired adapter), and attempting to manually renew is a waste of time, because the network adapter would have tried this many times already if it were working properly. NonYai, there seems to be a problem with you network adapter. Is it built into the laptop, or is it a USB plug-in adapter?

Sorry Bigteddy for my mistake. Yes, the result shows the service is working. I've delete it. Since other laptop also have the limited connectivity. The culprit should be the adapter itself. Nonya, you could try: 1. Re-installing the driver and software for the built-in wireless adapter. 2. Purchasing an inexpensive USB wireless adapter, and use that. (disable the internal one)
