I would like to kwon the difference between local and networkdrives

Well LOCAL would at the computer, Network drives could be any where on the network.

A local drive is physically connected directly to your computer (inside the cabinet or attached via cable). A network drive is a mapping to a shared folder on another machine somewhere on the network.
