latest update messed it up

Hi,

I have a Lenovo Flex 2-14 core i3 laptop, running on 64 bit Windows 8.1

Yesterday my computer installed an important update KB3044374, which after restarting the computer made it slow, jittery and the touch keyboard stopped popping up in the stand mode.
The laptop was making weird electronic noises in the process.

Using the recovery options, I've refreshed the Windows, which did not help things.

I then reinstalled the Windows, reverting my laptop to the factory settings. This has fixed all of the issues other than the keyboard still not popping up during the browser sessions at all. I've tried it on EI, Chrome and Firefox. It works on certain desktop searches but not all.

Can someone please let me know how to fix this horrible bug, so I can enjoy my laptop in the stand mode as specifically purchased for that.

Thanks,
Eva

Btw. ID of this update could have well been KB3020370 as also on the same day. One of them will be the faulty one

You're going to need to re-calibrate the flugal binder, and fire an inverse tachyon pulse from the deflector dish.

If that fails, try posting your problem to an appropriate forum.

Oh, how dared I...hope that didn't burn your processor
