The korean program i'm trying to use is p2p sharing program like donkey. as you can see most part of the program is in kroean but there are some parts that are marked as ????. this happens with other korean programs too. if i try to run korean games, within the game all korean language will be broken into random letters and symbols like AT!@%!%@$. so i cant really play the game. like i said, i have changed everything in language control panel into korean. going on korean sites and writing and reading is fine but having problem if i'm using a korean program and within that program the korean charaters breaks. anyone know what the problem is? http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/3662/70654697.png

Hi, According to your description, the issue can be caused by the settings of Region and Languages and compatibility issue between Korean program and Windows 7. Please change system local to Korea first, you can refer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Change-the-system-locale After that, you need to restart the computer and reinstall the program to let the program set the language correctly. If this issue persists, please make sure the software and games is compatible with Windows 7, you can check it on Windows 7 Compatibility Center The software which incompatible with Windows 7 will cause unexpected problem. You can try reinstall the program in vista compatible mode: 1. Insert the installation media, right click on the DVD drive icon and choose Open 2. In the open folder, right click the program setup.exe file and click the Properties option. 3. Select the Compatibility tab. 4. Select the Run This Program in Compatibility Mode option. 5. From the drop-down list, choose the operating system you ran before upgrading to Vista. 6. If necessary, select the option to run the program as an administration. 7. Click OK. Now, right click on Setup.exe and choose Run as administrator to install it again. Hope it helps. Hi, If you want install a language pack in Windows 7, then it is very easy. Windows 7 provides around 7100 languages. You can download the languages from Microsoft site. You have to select ‘Regional and Language Options’ in the ‘Control Panel’. If you want to install a language, you need to just click the ‘Install or Uninstall Languages’ tab.
