knownhandlers in autoplay
Hi, everyone. Recently, the "import pictures and videos" popup stopped being triggered upon my plugging my iPhone into my Windows 7 64-bit PC. I've researched this for over a week: Done all the obvious (such as system restore, deleted the
iPhone device handler key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\KnownDevices) but to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Thank you, Niki. I have, of course, done that already. I've read and attempted each fix suggested on this page, as well those on various other pages such as
this one and
this one. Nothing worked. (If you read each of those threads you will see they conclude with dead ends for some users.)
There must be SOME WAY to simply reset autoplay to its default state when I first installed a clean copy of Windows 7.
Thanks for your assistance.BB
