Windows 8.1 directly. Make sure that you download the installation media from official website.
Yes, some devices might not work properly after new system installed. If the issue still persists, please use another keyboard/mouse to confirm that if it is a system problem. In some cases, the default driver from Microsoft might cannot work properly, please
try using driver program from manufacturer for good measure.
