This is a strange problem which came out of the blue. I have Windows XP, usb mouse and keyboard. I can type my password in the login screen, and get about one or two clicks out of the mouse, then everything goes haywire. All the keyboard commands change, the language switches to a foreign language, most of the keys won't work. The mouse will allow some left clicks, right click goes on and off quickly and can't use it. I can't get into any of the icons in control panel to check the USB drivers, then the mouse changes the left click to right click actions for some but not all icons. Some apps will open and some won't. I ran a virus scan, but again the commands won't work in Norton, a quick scan shows nothing. I have tried a different keyboard and mouse. Anyone ever heard of this? Great Xmas present!1 person got this answerI do too
