keep having to put in user name and password for networked drive
This should work for you:
Go to the ball (start Menu) at the top of the menu click on the picture above your name
This brings up the User Accounts screen; on the left panel click on “Manage your credentials
On that screen, click on Add Windows credential
Enter the path (\\my-pc\)
and your password
This will save your credentials
Good Luck

I have two computers on a peer to peer both using windows 7 professional 64bit. I have a hard drive and folder on that drive mapped out and to do that I had to input the same username and password as my user id for that computer. Now
the problem is that no matter what I have tried it does not remember my credentials any time I reboot or relog in on the computer that is recieving the mapped drive/folder. I tried remapping it and making sure it had reconnect on login but it doesnt
matter. It is infuriating because it even has a box after you input the credentitals to check to remember them. Is there any way to get this drive to map and connect itself each login? It would make my life a lot easier.

Also check what permissions you have on the drive. Under the security tab.
Saving your credentials should be enough but just to be sure.
If that does not work look in your local policies and check security policies and check network access. Should be one about shares. Ensure you can access the shares without provided providing credentials.
