I am unable to update kb2676562 and kb2709715 using windows update. It is quite obvious I have a virus since I had to regain access to my live account just to make this post. I also hear strange radio commercials when my speakers are on. McAfee and Windows Essentials both say my computer is clean now. I have run Windows Defender offline several times now from a boot CD.

1. What does WindowsUpdate.log and Event logs say? 2. Generally you can install updates manually. 3. You should have ONE antivirus working and others are disabled or removed (Defender is disabled after MSSE is installed.) 4. Check network settings with ipconfig /all There are malware programs that highjack DNS settings to rogue ones. 5. Run AV just after you update security database and use full test. Regards Milos
