it happened to me too..and i have a question
i got the same phone call yesterday from an indian lady and she told me she is from microsoft..she brought me to this websitehttp://www.irssupport.net/... i fell for this stupid thing and allowed her to remotely access to my computer..she showed me these things saying that i have deadly viruses...she told me to talk to her manager..this indian man was asking me if i had money to fix it..and i knew something was fishy so i said no and he just hung up on me..so i stopped the remote access..i was worried that this might have already affected the hardware..so i chatted with one of the microsoft technicians..i told him what happened..he told me it was a fake call..and he asked for permission if he could remotely access to my computer..so i hesitated and just allowed him..he scanned my computer and told me my computer wasnt affected at all and i have no virus at all..so is my computer really safe??? is there a possibility that my hardware is affected even though my computer went through a scan and the result came out as clean3 people need an answerI do too
