The username/password for Skype is completely different and separate from the one used for Windows. You are probably entering the one for Skype which is wrong. Put in your Windows username/password instead.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

If you forgot your Skype username and password you may open Skype and chose forgot password and proceed with password recovery it would send a password to your email.
