is there such a thing as malware disguised as microsoft windows updates?
i recently asked a question about if i was getting too many security updates that i dont need. the answer i got was that it was probably malware. all the updates i receive are labled microsoft windows and when i look at the details, the updates take me to microsoft websites. is there any way that these could still be malware?

I don't know who told you these were probably malware, or why he said that. But I don't see anything above that suggests that they are likely to be malware. How many are you getting? How are you getting them? Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP
