is their a way to set wireless wpa ?
after messing around for awhile i got my linksys wireless 802.11b to work. the problem is i cant find setting's for wpa the encription my network is useing. all i see is wep. are they some networking componets or drivers some place on the disc i need or does windows 7 only support wep?

See the manual for the Linksys for how to set it to use WPA (or if it isn't supported).This has nothing to do with Windows 7.

You may also wish to check the linksys website, and ensure that you have the most current firmware (if applicable) and drivers for your specific card. (I had to get a completely different set of drivers for an enterasys PCIMCIA card to enable WPA. )Good luck.Jim

I` use.. Wpa and wpa2-psk, windows 7 support both, without any trouble ;)

it was a driver problem i had to use install disk then update drivers for the wireless b device
