is ips/spx protocol supported in winxp mode?
is ipx/spx protocol supported in winxp mode for win7? even if it is does it work for LAN games that use upx/spx?

I suspect that you would have trouble with IPX/SPX in the vm. They were not installed by default in XP but you could enable them. My guess is that, if you try to enable them in the XP vm, it will ask you for the installation CD!Bill

it is not a problem since i have win xp installation cd but is there a software that microsoft has that will enable us to use ipx/spx in win 7 or vista or its completely unsupported?

it works, but unless its a vm u won't have any graphics acceleration cards installed, so e.g. c&c ra 2 doesn't work unter xp mode, i tried
