is hkey important?
one of my programs [ad aware] was doing a scan. when it finished it notifyed me thatHKEY was a negligible object . my moms boyfriendclicked delete and everything was fine .i have noticed no difference in my computer's speed or performance my question is, was it important?or is it really spyware? to whom it may concern, help me boy

That could not have need the entire name, I'd think:HKEY = Hive Key: it's the start of a Registry key name.Long story short, it's absolutely impossbile to say, without knowing the full name/path of the item that was deleted, just what it was.Sorry.But, since AdAware reported it as a 'negligible object', it probably isn't anything to be concerned about.
