I am using Windows 7 with IE 8 browser. I use a cable modem to connect. The problem is that I have very intermittent connectivity. For example, I had no connectivity yesterday, but it is fine today. I unplugged the modem when I went to bed and today all seems well. I have reset the modem and the adapter but still this problem continues. It only started about a month ago so I am very confused at this point. In a last ditch effort to fix it I backed up my files to a cd and did a full recovery and still I have the same issue. Please help me!!!!

When you have no connectivity, can you still ping your modem/router? If so, the problem is not related to your pc.

Give me the result of this command on CMD: ipconfig /all (To open the CMD click on start>run and then write CMD)
