ipconfig /flushdns
I am finding that frequently I cannot access http://mail.yahoo.com due to DNS resolution failure under Vista Business edition. This is happening seemingly randomly, but on a daily basis. Executing ipconfig /flushdns fixes the problem immediately. The Yahoo mail host is the only one that I know of that is affected by this problem. Other web sites work fine. I have an XP machine behind the same NAT, and it never suffers from this problem. Any ideas what might be causing this bizarre behavior with this one site? Thanks.

Hi, Thank you for your post. Based on the current situation, please disable DNS Cache on the Windows Vista machine and confirm if the issue disappears: 1. Right-click cmd, and select Run as Administrator 2. Type net stop dnscache to disable DNS Cache Hope it helps. Sincerely, Joson Zhou Microsoft Online Community Support
