internet explorer request pages with ip v6 address
hi, I have a webserver with ip v4 adress restrictions, because some parts are accessible from internet and other are just for internal use, and all works fine so far ie use ip v4 ip addresse to request pages to the server, but sometimes, after a reboot in a windows 7 64 bit, ie start to make request using ip v6 address and cause the i cannot set ip v6 address restrictions, the access to the web app is locked. From the iis side i haven't found any solutions: by default the access to the web app is locked, and i can set only ip v4 exceptions, how can i force ie 8/9 (same behavior) to use ip v4 adresses? best regards, luca morelli
