I have a internet connection problem. Firefox, Quote Tracker, Windows Media Center all connect to the internet via my wired home network. I am connecting on the network using fixed ip address, and fixed dns address on the router. But Windows Internet Exployer, TeamViewer, and finding other XP conneted Computers on the home network do not work. I have done everything that I can read on the problem and have not found the problem yet. Do you have any ideas on how to solve this problem. Thanks C J

first step is to unbind IP 6 from the nic.next step is to check if the router supports win 7

Hi, Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Check if you can ping some other computers on the network. 2. Reset Internet Explorer 8: Reset Internet Explorer 8 settings 3. Boot to Safe Mode with networking and check if it works. Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT
