UDP is part of the Internet Protocol Suite. It is installed by default with TCP/IPv4 and AFAIK can't be uninstalled or reinstalled. IF DNS lookups are working UDP is working as DNS uses UDP. I looked in Vista. I don't see anywhere to add UDP from the bindings tab. Can you attach a Vista screen shot so we can see what you're trying to do?Kerry Brown MS-MVP - Windows Desktop Experience

Hi Kerry, thank you for your prompt reply. This is what im trying to do on my Windows 7. But i cant seem to find the adaptors and settings tab. Basically im trying to play red alert 2 online. Please refer to the insructions below to get an idea of what im trying to do. Thank you UDP Download the UnderStorm Red Alert 2 Patch fromhttp://www.understorm.net/cnc/lan/ts_ra2.phpand copy "wsock32.dll" from the downloaded archive to the root folder of your Red Alert 2 installation. Click Start, click Run, type ncpa.cpl , and then click OK. You can see the available connections in the LAN and High-Speed Internet section of the Network Connections window. Sorry, only german screenshot available, but you should get the idea On the Advanced menu, click Advanced Settings, and then click the Adapters and Bindings tab. Move Hamachi to the top to select it as the primary adapter In the Connections area, select the Hamachi connection that you want to move higher in the list. Use the arrow buttons to move the connection to the top.
