did you go to the Dell site and download the wireless driver for Windows 7? http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&ServiceTag=&SystemID=VOS_N_3300&os=W732&osl=en&catid=&impid= On Tue, 25 May 2010 11:55:06 +0000, Kirt80 wrote: > > >Hi, > >I have just purchased a Dell Vostro 3300; > >this comes with windows 7 (32bit) for you to install yourself. i was able to install it but now the wireless does not work. > >the little light to show its searching does not light up at all. > >the wireless worked when windows XP was being used however now it will not. > >thanks Barb Bowman www.digitalmediaphile.com

Hi, Please open Device Manager and assure there is no exclamation mark or question beside the Wireless adapter. If so, you should try Barb’s suggestion to install the latest driver for the Wireless adapter. If the driver is already installed successfully, I suggest you also perform the following suggestions. 1. Assure the WLAN AutoConfig service is started. 2. Temporarily turn off firewall or antivirus on the machine. Thanks, Novak
