This was a virus/trojan. It was removed from your AntiVirus Scanner, but the registry entries are still present. Start regedit.exe and search for araqixiwu.dll and cnsbeA.dll and delete all entries you find. when system startup, it will launch all the startup programs and these programs will call some other files if you have some troubleshooting experience, I recommend you to look at 2 places 1. system services - look and see if there is any suspicious service is set to start automatically 2. run msconfig - look under startup tab and see if there is any suspicious program in there, or even the 2 dll files. if you see the 2 dll listed, simply uncheck the box to disable it to run when the system startup inspect any suspicious program and remove it ***do it with care***

Hilmar What are the names of these two programs? Please go to the Program Files folder, under the program's installation directory, see if there are araqixiwu.dll and cnsbeA.dll file located. Based on my understanding, the window pops up because the araqixiu.dll and cnsbeA.dll aren't registered in Registry, while you start the two programs at Startup, they call the araqixiwu.dll and cnsbeA.dll files but find no registry related. To resolve it, you may need to re-register these .dll files or re-install programs. 2. msconfig- under startup I did find two programs, when disabled the windows disappear. but how do I get rid of them. What are the names of these two programs? the programs' friendly names can be found in the leftmost column (Startup Item) of msconfig. that should give you a starting point to follow Dale's instructions.

sometimes what happen was a program got removed by you or by antivirus software, however some registry and startup setting didn't get remove and that's why you can't see them in programs and features. because they are not in your machine anymore

I can't see any problem here the problem programs have been removed (that's what you would concern) but the startup link still there it doesn't harm your computer at all, as long as you have disable to run it is like you have uninstalled a software but it's icon still on your desktop if you really want to get rid of it reinstall the software and remove it properly so that it will remove it's links as well **if you want to install the software again**

Hi Bostos, Dale and the rest of the Gang! Thanks for the reply, I did not know that is how it works. . Since I don't know which software (virus/Trojan) was uninstalled by Mccaffe I will leave things alone. I don't like to go true all the Software to find the rest of it. At 77 the Mind is not as sharp as in the older Days. So thanks again for all the Help Hilmar
