I created backups using the Image option of Backup to drives on a usb hookup. Now I need to do a restore, and the Install disk does not see the USB drive. I really need this recovery. HELP!!!!

Hi, What did the Install disk use? Before starting the computer, please connecting the USB drive and ensure it is recognized in BIOS. If not, try different USB ports. Boot from the installation dvd or repair disk. Select the Complete PC restore option. Wait until restore looks for a drive with an image to connect the external usb drive. After connecting then, browse to the image if it does find it. Test and cancel backup restore and restore points prior to a catastrophe.
