Hi jeniece, Please first run anti-spyware software to scan the system to see if the issue is caused by spyware infection. If the issue persists, let's change the Group Policy settings to see if the issue can be resolved: 1. Please go to Start, type Group Policy in the Search box and then press Enter. 2. Expand the to the following item on the left pane: User Configuration -> Administrator Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer 3. Find "Disable changing home page settings" on the right pane and double click on it. 4. Choose "Enable". 5. Type the homepage URL in "Home Page" section. 6. Click OK. Please check if the issue can be resolved now. Also, please collect the HiJackThis log file for further research: Collect HiJackThis log ============== 1. Please download HijackThis from the following link: http://www.techspot.com/download317.html HijackThis is a tool to collect some system settings information which is useful for further troubleshooting. Provide administrator password or click “Allow” if you are prompted to do so. 3. Click the "Do a system scan and save a logfile" Button. 4. A Notepad window will appear, please click “File”, “Save As...” to save it as HJT.log (or other file name you like) on the Desktop and upload it to at www.skydrive.live.com and provide the link. There are a couple of easier steps that may be helpful to do first.(1) Find the "house" icon on the menu-bar. Click its little triangle, then click Add or Change Home Page. Now check if the bottom bulletUse the current tab set as your home page is selected. You probably want to choose the top bullet option Use this home page as your only home page.--- else ---(2) Try using Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) and see if the problem is corrected. It's in StartMenu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools If that solves it, you need to examine Tools > Manage Add-ons in your normal IE8 config. Now for sure Carey, while you're deleting all my posts, this one has got to go. Look how badly I behaved when it sat there a whole week as a Proposed Answer, yet you wouln't complete the job and give it the green check. Now complete the job you started. Delete it.
